Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

The explanations and information provided on this page are only general and high-level explanations and information on how to write your own document of a Refund Policy. You should not rely on this article as legal advice or as recommendations regarding what you should actually do, because we cannot know in advance what are the specific refund policies that you wish to establish between your business and your customers. We recommend that you seek legal advice to help you understand and to assist you in the creation of your own Refund Policy.

Refund Policy

Omaha Life Group is an independent life insurance and annuity brokerage and does not directly collect premiums or issue insurance or annuity contracts.

Insurance & Annuity Premiums

All life insurance and annuity premiums are paid directly to the issuing insurance carrier. Refunds, premium adjustments, or policy cancellations are governed solely by the terms and conditions of the individual insurance or annuity contract and the issuing carrier’s policies.

Brokerage Fees

Omaha Life Group does not charge separate brokerage or consultation fees for insurance or annuity products unless explicitly disclosed in writing in advance. If a fee is charged, any applicable refund terms will be clearly communicated prior to payment.

Cancellations & Free Look Periods

Most insurance and annuity policies include a free look period, during which a policy may be reviewed and canceled according to carrier guidelines. During this period, any eligible refunds are handled directly by the insurance carrier.

Appointments & Consultations

Appointments are provided for educational and informational purposes. There are no charges for standard consultations, and therefore no refunds are applicable.

Questions

If you have questions regarding policy cancellations or refunds, we are happy to assist you in contacting the issuing carrier for guidance.
